Defend GRS, youth leaders urged

Drawing inspiration from the leadership of Prophet Muhammad SAW during the Battle of Badr, Masiung highlighted the significance of unity and obedience to leadership in achieving victory.
Kota Kinabalu: Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Vice-President Datuk Masiung Banah urged the party’s youth leaders to confront and resist opposition provocations.
Stressing the importance of standing firm in the face of attacks and ridicule, he said youth leaders should not be passive or timid when the party is under fire.

“We have to be vigilant and swift in defending our party and president against slander and misinformation propagated by the opposition, particularly on social media,” he said during a youth retreat in Tuaran, recently.
Drawing inspiration from the leadership of Prophet Muhammad SAW during the Battle of Badr, Masiung highlighted the significance of unity and obedience to leadership in achieving victory.
While encouraging Gagasan Rakyat youth leaders to emulate discipline and unity, Masiung cautioned against complacency and emphasised the consequences of deviating from the leader’s guidance.
“The youth leadership should strictly follow the instructions of party leaders and defend the party’s dignity against provocations.”
