Kota Kinabalu: Amnesty International Malaysia denounced the recent detention of eight Bajau Laut stateless students who joined some Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) students in protesting over water supply problems.

The students were arrested on June 14 outside the Menara Kinabalu and released after seven days in detention.
