KENINGAU: A group of second year students from Construction Technology programme of Keningau Vocational College (KVC) were among the 10 recipients of the inaugural YouthMADE Festival Amplify Grant for their community service project, First 2 Fix.
The USD500 grant was given by US-based Digital Promise Global that has received almost 50 entries from all over the world and officially announced the list of winning projects on its website on May this year, said KVC Head of Research and Innovation, Dr Sirhajwan Idek here.

He said the 10 grant recipients were from the United States, Brazil, India, Nigeria, Luxembourg and Malaysia.
Sirhajwan said the purpose of the grants was to assist the recipients in scaling up their projects.
