Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) will use smart metres to record the amount of electricity used in premises and residences.
SESB chairman Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau said an open tender had been made to qualified companies.

"The tender was opened on April 16 and closed on June 12. At this point, it is in the tender analysis process before being presented to the Management Tender Committee and then to the Procurement and Finance Committee of the Board," he said in a statement.
