Climber rescued after ankle injury on Mount Kinabalu

KOTA KINABALU: The Mountain Search and Rescue (Mosar) team, along with Sabah Parks personnel and mountain guides, rescued an injured Mount Kinabalu climber on Monday.
A Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said Mosar assisted the 29-year-old male victim who had sprained his right ankle while descending at KM6.3, Mount Kinabalu.

Sabah Parks personnel provided initial treatment before the victim was brought to Timpohon Gate and sent to Ranau Hospital for further treatment.
