Kota Kinabalu: The #KamiMahuAir demonstration participants opted for a sit-in in front of Menara Kinabalu here after their intention to submit a memorandum to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor was not met.
They insisted on handing over the memorandum to Hajiji personally. However, he was not available in the office.

The demonstrators declined to submit the memorandum to Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Shahelmey Yahya, who came to meet them.
The memorandum includes the demands that the authorities ensure the water needs of the people in Sabah are adequately met without any excuses.
The #KamiMahuAir gathering was participated by about 80 people, mostly Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) undergraduates.
