PENAMPANG: A 35-year-old local may face death penalty for allegedly possessing 153.09gm of substance, believed to be ecstasy, in a raid on a condominium at Bundusan, Tuesday.
The Narcotics Crime Investigation Division of Penampang police apprehended the suspect at 3.30pm.

Penampang District Police Chief Supt Sammy Newton said police seized three plastic packages containing the drug worth about RM3,000.
He said the suspect also tested positive for taking methamphetamine and amphetamine.
“The suspect is currently being remanded in accordance with Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act (ADB) 1952 and, if convicted, may face the death penalty.
“The case is also investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of ADB 1952 for taking drugs,” he said.
