Sabah bidders invited for key solar power job
ECoS emphasises the importance of local participation in this bidding process, urging local companies to prioritise the utilisation of local products, services, suppliers, and labour in the development of large-scale solar power plants.  - Pic for illustration only.
Kota Kinabalu: The Energy Commission of Sabah (ECoS) opened up a remarkable opportunity for local companies in Sabah to partake in a competitive bidding process for the establishment of large-scale solar power plants in the region.

This bidding initiative, identified as ECoS/JPIP/RFP/LSS2024, presents a chance for local entities to contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy solutions in Sabah.

We encourage local companies interested in participating in this bidding process to note the specific prerequisites set by ECoS.

These requirements include a demonstrated ability to finance projects, experience in solar energy projects, compliance with legal and regulatory standards in Sabah's electricity supply industry, and the availability of suitable lands for the proposed plant sites and interconnection facilities.
