Kota Kinabalu: Former State Rural Development Minister Datuk Seri Radin Malleh on Wednesday questioned Deputy Prime Minister cum Rural and Regional Development Minister Datuk Seri Zahid Ahmad Hamidi on the need to set up the Madani Rural Development Committee (JKDM).
“Is there anything wrong with the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah-Pakatan Harapan Sabah (GRS-PH) Plus Government (that there is a need to set up JKDM in Sabah)?

“To me, so far it (the GRS-PH Plus State Government) is doing well and it is a moderate Government which accommodates everyone,” he said in a statement.
The former Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Deputy President said the rural development fund can still be channelled to the State Government through the State Rural Development Ministry without the formation of JKDM.
