Kota Kinabalu: Sebanyak 210 pokok kelapa pandan dan tabebuia rosea ditanam di sepanjang Sungai Telipok pada Rabu.
Aktiviti tersebut diadakan sempena Hari Alam Sekitar Sedunia. Ia melibatkan 46 pertubuhan kerajaan dan bukan kerajaan, termasuk pelajar dan guru.

“Jutaan terima kasih kepada Lembaga Koko Malaysia atas sumbangan anak pokok kelapa pandan,” kata Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar Datuk Christina Liew.
“Kami berharap kelapa pandan ini akan memberi manfaat kepada penduduk setempat apabila ia berbuah nanti.”
