Car damaged in Keningau fire

KENINGAU: A Honda City vehicle was destroyed by fire in Kampung Linsosod, here, Tuesday.
District Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 1.29pm and a team of 10 members led by Operations Commander, Razaain Ag Damit, rushed to the location with machinery.

According to Razaain, the operation involved an auxiliary channel flow from the fire engine. There was no casualty.
After ensuring that no other danger existed, the operation was ended at 1.59pm.
Meanwhile, in Sook, a 36-year-old man suffered minor injuries when the Toyota Hilux Revo vehicle he was travelling in crashed at Mile 26, Nabawan road, on Monday night.
Sook Fire and Rescue Station received a call at 8.53pm and a total of seven members led by Operation Commander, Maimin Yabin, rushed to the scene.

Other agencies that were also on scene were the police and Ministry of Health (MOH) officers.
The firemen acted to provide initial treatment to the victim who was later taken to Keningau Hospital for further treatment.

The operation ended at 9.09pm.
