Kota Kinabalu: Muhammad Khairie Keplie Limun and Farizah Wirdani Fadzil dominated the boys and girls Under-16 categories at the inaugural Youth Badminton Championship organised by Keep Young Badminton Club (KYBC) at the Juara Badminton Arena in Putatan on Sunday.
Khairie who was seeded top defeated second seed Muhd Ismail Iman Ibrahim 21-17, 21-13 in the final to take the boys singles with joint third place going to Oniell Rhyan Syhah Kamsah and Muhammad Aqirul Tarzan.

He also won the doubles title partnering Fahriz Iqbal after defeating Ervan Noah and Patrick Ng 21-17, 21-13 in the final and in joint third place were Aqirul-Norman Sulaiman and Muhamad Aqalil Tazzan-Muhammad Nabil Asyraf.
Farizah on the other hand upset doubles partner and top seed Christy Cassandra Fabian 21-19, 21-13 in the singles final.
