Three suspects steal cash, cigarettes from Sook petrol station

SOOK: A petrol station here suffered losses of around RM4,600 after being broken into in the wee hours of Monday morning.
Keningau District Police Chief Supt Yampil Garai said CCTV footage showed three suspects breaking into the premises at around 12.40am using a slingshot and a crowbar.

The three suspects were using a red Perodua Bezza with a fake registration number QS9191T.
Items stolen included cash, including coins, amounting to RM1,200, 200 boxes of various types of cigarettes, and a mobile phone.
Yampil said the petrol station manager was informed by an employee at 5.46am about the premises’ broken front glass panel.
A police team then went to the scene after a report was made.

The case is being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code, and the public with information about the incident are asked to contact the nearest police station.
