RM132m Mara campus part of Petronas’ ESG

Kota Kinabalu: Building the Mara Junior Science College (MRSM) campus in Ranau is as part of fulfilling its Environment, Social, Governance (ESG) commitment for Petronas.
This is especially so in the “Social” criteria involving quality education and “Governance” criteria involving philanthropy.
“The MRSM Ranau campus costing RM132 million is the result of collaboration with the Sabah Government and Mara since March 2024, thus enhancing access to quality education among Sabah students and stimulating interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics or STEM,” said Saira Hanim, Petronas Senior Manager of Health, Safety and Environment recently.
