“We are committed to working tirelessly to ensure the successful organisation of this annual event, with the support and cooperation of the State Government, various institutions, private sector and people of all ethnicities,” Goh said, briefing Masidi on the development, achievements and the latest progress of the event over the past 10 years.

Masidi was satisfied with the series of achievements of the FCAS International Dragon Boat Race which was “remarkable.”

He said State Government’s decision to entrust FCAS with organising this international event was based on two main reasons: Firstly, the outstanding leadership and organisational capabilities of FCAS, and secondly, FCAS’s excellent performance in planning, organising, and reviewing the event each year.
