KOTA MARUDU: The Civil Service Employees’ Union Congress (Cuepacs) wants construction of offices or fire stations in Sabah to be completed according to the set schedule.
Its President, Datuk Dr Adnan Mat, said fire and rescue stations need to ensure smooth delivery and offer the best services to the community.

“If there are departments or offices or fire stations that do not follow the construction schedule, we request our employer, namely the government, to speed up the construction process so the delivery system is not interrupted.
“The functions of the fire brigade is also growing, in addition to the increasing scope of duties and expertise of the department.
