BELURAN: Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Exco, Datuk James Ratib, wants firm action to be taken against traders who sell controlled and daily necessities at exorbitant prices in the Botition and Paitan areas here.
Ratib, who is also the Minister of Community Development and People’s Wellbeing as well as the State Assemblyman for Sugut, said this includes revoking their business licenses.

“We hope KPDN and the relevant authorities will continue to routinely monitor this matter as it involves the interests of consumers in these rural areas,” he said.
“I have also received reports from residents about shops selling controlled items at high prices and misleading pricing,” he added.
