“For Sabah, JHEKS received 65 applications from various clusters and 31 were approved with a total allocation of RM260,014.

“Compared to last year, only 16 trade unions were successful in their application with the approval of RM176,550.

“A total of six clusters are available for trade unions to apply for, including Training and Education Programmes, Trade Union Movement Studies, Scientific Writing on Labour Issues related to Trade Unions, Purchase of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Equipment,” he said when speaking at the Aid Handover Ceremony PHEKS 2024 Sabah Zone Trade Union Affairs Programme, here, on Monday.

“Based on the strategic mission of 3K, it is my hope that every trade union in this country continues to fight for the rights and welfare of workers so that they are always preserved and protected,” he said.

In the event, a total of 30 trade unions received a check for PHEKS assistance presented by Abdul Rahman.
