The Sabah Professional Council (SPC) said these “fly-by-night” and “backdoor” professionals exploit loopholes such as using non-active locals as fronts and setting up “in-name-only” branch offices.

They range from lawyers, accountants and engineers to even doctors who see Sabah as a goldmine with opportunities in the peninsula shrinking due to stiff competition.
