THE seeds of Bandung’s Indonesia transformation into a creative city were sown during a weekend gathering of creative minds, igniting a wave of innovative ideas aimed at propelling the city to the forefront of Indonesia’s creative landscape.
These coffee talk sessions have highlighted Bandung’s esteemed position as one of the world’s leading creative cities, inspiring creative communities globally.
This pivotal moment culminated in the establishment of the Indonesian Creative Cities Network (ICCN) during the Creative Cities Conference held in Bandung on April 26, 2015.
A creative city is a term used to describe an urban area that places a strong emphasis on fostering and nurturing creativity, innovation, and cultural expression.
