Kota Kinabalu: The Housing and Urban Development Board (LPPB) will proceed with a proposal for commercial development on its land in Melalap town.
Assistant Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Isnin Aliasnih said LPPB has advertised through its website and invited several developers to develop land for commercial projects, but so far, no company has shown interest in establishing a joint venture to develop the land.

"For information, during the previous government, LPPB had received development proposals for shop lots on a joint venture basis from a company. However, the discussion was not continued by the company," he said at the State Legislative Assembly here on Thursday.
