RANAU: The Pre-syawal Sales Stall organised by the Federal Agricultural Marketing Board (Fama) in the district on April 3-9 provided a source of income for 19 agro-based industrial (IAT) entrepreneurs.
It involved the exhibition and selling of hundreds of brands of their own Biskut Raya products at reasonable prices.

District Fama Officer, Mohd Rahman Rafael Raya, said the sales sites in Ranau town are open from 8am to 4pm daily.
“Every year, in the run-up to Ramadan, Fama gives space and opportunities to entrepreneurs registered with the district Fama, especially to those who have their own biscuit-making workshop,” he said.
“The entrepreneurs, including those who got their training or courses from the Department of Agriculture, Farmers, Mardi and other agencies will be given the opportunity,” explained Mohd Rahman.
According to him, many IAT entrepreneurs are interested in selling their products but are hindered due to limited space for the pre-syawal stalls.
