Shamsudin said police received a call from a medical officer at the clinic at noon.
He said the boy’s mother told her husband their son had been trapped after the wall at the back of the kitchen that was under construction collapsed.
The mother had repeatedly warned her two children not to play in the area, Berita Harian reported Shamsudin as saying.
He said the boy’s brother was also hit by falling bricks, but was only lightly injured.
