Tabung Haji, RTM reach out to pilgrims and depositors

KENINGAU: Tabung Haji (TH) supports and takes a corporate responsibility approach based on the concept of improving and preserving life.
TH Sabah and Sarawak Director Datuk Nurlaila Said, said TH is committed to contributing towards the sustainability of the development of stakeholders, especially pilgrims, Depositors and the Community comprising the poor, disabled and needy, without neglecting integrity, ethics, social, economic and environmental aspects.
ADVERTISEMENT Nurlaila said this when officiating the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme of RTM Sabah and Tabung Haji Sabah in Kg Rezab Lambanga, Apin-Apin on Saturday.
Nurlaila said, it coincided with TH’s aspirations to share the success achieved with stakeholders through the CSR programme.
“It also coincides with Islamic principles and TH’s commitment as a caring organization, with a mission to improve the socioeconomic status of Muslims in Malaysia,” he said.
Norlaila said, TH continues to treat the Muslim community, especially the depositors and potential depositors in every remote district in the interior of the State.

On CSR programme with RTM Sabah in Kg Rezab Lambanga, Norlaila said, it aimed to approach the Muslim community in villages which consists of the elderly, the poor and those in need through financial aid and food baskets.
TH also donated solar lights for the open hall and P.A. system for Imam Mahat Harun’s surau.

“At this programme, TH brought a mobile counter to explain to residents or attendees about the services provided by TH,” she said.
Norlaila said, there were actually many services provided by TH that can help not only Haj Pilgrims but also TH depositors.
Also present were Sabah Broadcasting Director Salmah Hashim, Sabah TH director Haji Yusri Haji Nasip and Keningaufm Broadcasting Manager.
