Kota Kinabalu: K.T.I. Sdn Bhd is poised to elevate the livelihood of the Luyang community through The Logg, a mixed-development project that will not only offer premium living to its residents but also contribute to the improvement of infrastructure in Luyang.

K.T.I. Sdn Bhd recently welcomed Sabah Industrial Development and Entrepreneurship Minister, and Luyang assemblyman Datuk Phoong Jin Zhe to The Logg’s construction site. During the visit on Jan 5, the latter was briefed on the progress of the project and its new initiatives for Luyang.

“The Logg’s Shorea tower has reached the sixth floor, while its Astoria tower is standing tall at seven floors. Our Park Hill apartment has reached the sixth floor, while the Avani Hotel, a 4-star international hotel, is currently soaring at nine floors,” said K.T.I. Sdn Bhd Director of Projects Wilson Loke during the event.

To address the issue of traffic congestion in Luyang, Wilson assured that K.T.I. has conducted a careful assessment and specifically designed The Logg’s entrance and exit points to eliminate unnecessary junctions, ensuring smoother traffic flow when The Logg is completed.

Furthermore, in terms of future plans, K.T.I. will be constructing a link bridge covering the monsoon drain to connect The Logg to the road near Luyang Health Clinic, with a target completion date set for June 2024. They are also looking at the possibility of extending the existing pedestrian bridge from Lintas to The Logg, ensuring enhanced accessibility.

On top of that, K.T.I. is planning to enhance the fence between The Logg and Luyang Health Clinic, allowing convenient access for patients and visitors.

Upon completion, The Logg will offer a substantial total of 1,700 parking lots within the development. Notably, 500 parking lots are allocated for public use, enhancing the convenience for the Luyang community, including shoppers and clinic visitors.

“Not only that, we are also in the midst of discussions with market leaders for women and child-related services, aiming to create a haven for women within The Logg,” added Wilson.

He assured that K.T.I. Sdn Bhd is committed to completing The Logg ahead of schedule, aiming for a 2026 completion date.

Meanwhile, Phoong commended K.T.I.’s commitment to addressing traffic congestion and enhancing community connectivity, emphasising the positive impact these developments would have on the Luyang community.

“The Logg signifies a transformative project that aims to uplift the lifestyle of the Luyang community. K.T.I. Sdn Bhd’s dedication to infrastructure improvement and community connectivity is commendable. I look forward to witnessing the positive impact this development will have on our local residents,” said Phoong.

K.T.I. is hopeful that these improvements would benefit the public, especially the patients of Luyang Health Clinic.
