The man, who may have been drunk, was believed to have been lying at the entrance when its shutters automatically closed at 12.01am.
“This caused the victim’s neck to be lodged between the shutters and the floor. The shutters reopened (automatically) at 6am.
“The victim was confirmed dead on the scene by medical officers from Hospital Tuanku Ampuan Rahimah in Klang,” Iqbal said.
He added that the victim did not have any form of identification on him and that he was estimated to be in his 50s or 60s.
