“It is important for us to be ready from now, to go down to the field and meet the grassroots,” said party president Datuk Peter Anthony (pic) after the party’s Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM).
“I believe with this KDM leadership, especially the combination of me and Deputy President Datuk Wetron Bahanda, we can compete with other parties who are contesting including those that are KDM-based.”
Wetrom, who is Bandau Assemblyman and Kota Marudu Member of Parliament, won the deputy presidency uncontested.
“In Kota Marudu, our deputy president (Wetrom) defeated the PBS president there. I am confident of the same strength in other constituencies in the PRN later,” he added.
