PENAMPANG: The government will introduce two new schemes to boost the development of entrepreneurship and cooperatives in the country, said Entrepreneurship Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick.

Ewon said the two new schemes are the Craft Entrepreneur Financing Scheme, implemented by Tekun Nasional, and the Tourism Cooperative Incentive Programme, implemented by the Malaysian Cooperative Commission.
ADVERTISEMENT For the craft entrepreneur scheme, Ewon said the funding is up to a maximum of RM100,000 for micro and small entrepreneurs in craft arts, batik clothes, handicrafts, souvenirs and enterprises in the craft sector.
