RANAU: A 40-year-old local woman suffered breathing difficulties while scaling Mount Kinabalu and had to be rescued by the Mount Kinabalu search and rescue team (Mosar) in another incident, here, Sunday.
Ranau Fire and Rescue Department Chief, PPgB Ridwan bin Mohd Taib, said the incident happened at KM6 Panalaban of the Mount Kinabalu climbing trail, at about 9.30am.

“We received a call and a team of two personnel and seven from Mosar, led by the Operation Officer, PBK II KUP Domianus bin Gidin, rushed to the scene.
Also involved were a mountain guide and three Sabah Park rangers.
