Kota Kinabalu: The National Registration Department (JPN) “Meet Customers Day” will be held at the Federal Government Administration Complex on Thursday.
Its director Ervina Kebahi @ Syarafina Ibrahim said JPN is celebrating its 75th Diamond Jubilee with the theme of “Quality Services Towards People Identity”.

“As the agency responsible for registration of identity documents, JPN is always committed to ensure quality service delivery and protection of people’s identity with integrity and efficiency.
“In accordance with the National Registration Day (HPN) celebration theme, JPN Sabah has planned several activities throughout October to welcome people in the city and in interior to get advice,” she said.
Meanwhile, field activities through the Jelajah Menyemai Kasih Rakyat (Mekar) will be held in several selected places such as in weekly tamu, markets, towns, shopping centres and Higher Education Institutions and schools,” she said when met at Kenanga Tiga ward, Sabah Women’s and Children’s Hospital (HWKKS).
She said Tour kicked off on Oct 1 at Gaya Street Weekly Tamu followed by SMK Benoni Papar, Tamparuli Market place and Kundasang.

“During the programme, public can make a MyKad replace within 30 minutes and get advice on registration matters,” she said at the HWKSS Baby Charity Programme to celebrate 21 babies born on Oct 1 in conjunction with JPN Day.

Also present were Ministry of Community Development and People’s Welfare (KPMKR) Deputy Permanent Secretary Maria David and Deputy Director of Sabah Women’s and Children’s Hospital Adrian Allan Richard.
