Kota Kinabalu: The environmental impact on tourism from carbon emissions from over-development cannot be ignored, said Tourism, Culture and Environment Datuk Christina Liew.
She said the relevant quarters must work collectively to minimise the carbon footprint, protect natural resources and support sustainable tourism practices.

“Only by doing so can we ensure that future generations can experience what we have today,” she said when officiating the TTLx Summit 2023 Tourism Conference, here, Wednesday.
She also stressed that inclusivity and diversity must be central to their efforts.
