SANDAKAN: The Sabah Ministry of Science and Innovation (KSTI) has drawn up a strategic plan to ensure that the culture of Science and its application can be encouraged throughout Sabah.

KSTI’s Permanent Secretary, Datuk Zainudin Aman, said KSTI had created an action plan together with the Sabah Education Department in regard the strategic plan to develop Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in the State as well as the Sandakan District Education Office.

“We are confident of achieving a level of achievement exceeding 40 per cent in 2025 of student involvement in STEM,” he explained.
