Kota Kinabalu: Having climbed Mount Kinabalu the first time in 2019, Nguyen Thi Lanh was determined for a repeat but the Covid-19 pandemic intervened.
This time, the Life Coach of an academy decided to convince 48 other middle-aged compatriots to join her – making it the biggest single Vietnamese group to pick Sabah for their mountain-climbing experience in recent memory.
Only one of them did not make it to Borneo’s highest peak and the experience convinced them that more Vietnamese should consider Sabah as a destination.
