Kota Kinabalu: The State Rural Development Ministry (KPLBS) is strengthening the digital infrastructure in hard-to-reach areas as well as accelerating the development of digital technology to provide better services for the community.
Its Minister Datuk Jahid Jahim said this is being carried out in collaboration with the relevant agencies, adding the Ministry is aware of the existing challenges and those that will be faced in the effort to apply digitisation in rural areas, especially in district offices.
One of them is the availability of digital infrastructure which is still limited in some districts, he said.
