Chin, who is usually charged between RM7 and RM30 per month, went to the Sandakan Water Department office to inquire, besides seeking assistance from several Yang Berhormats (or elected representatives) here, but his problem remained.

He then relayed the matter to Karamunting Assemblyman George Hiew Vun Zin early this month, whereupon the department investigated and found that a staff made a mistake when reading the meter at Chin’s residence.
