“I would especially want to thank the Sabah State Government because I received full support from the State and Federal governments, as well as the people of Sabah, throughout my service in the State.”

“The first encounter that I handled well here was the recent General Election, which went off without a hitch.

“Secondly, when dealing with natural disasters caused by the North East Monsoon. In the face of the many challenges and incidents during that period, we received full cooperation from government agencies such as the Fire and Rescue Department, Civil Defence Force, and Malaysian Armed Forces, among others. “I would also like to thank those who assisted people affected by natural disasters,” said Idris, who was accompanied at the Istana Seri Kinabalu by Jauteh and Sabah Special Branch Chief SAC Datuk Mohd Salleh Yahya.
