Kuala Lumpur: As Calvin Klein’s new global brand ambassador, Jungkook of BTS is sending fans into a frenzy .
The new campaign, which is all over social media, sees the South Korean pop star modelling an oversized denim jacket and ‘90s straight denim jeans from the 2023 collection.

Sporting his tattoo sleeve, lip piercing, tousled wet hair and washboard abs, he’s also seen in a relaxed fit denim shirt with standard logo crewneck tee.
It’s all about playful sex appeal with a global reach and it’s clearly making the desired impact.
“Never thought I’d cry over a man in a denim jacket,” said a fan on Twitter.
“The visceral blood-curdling I just let out in Houston Street upon seeing the Jungkook Calvin Klein mural,” said another Twitter user.

The black and white campaign was shot by photographer Park Jong Ha.
Jungkook, whose full name is Jeon Jung-kook, will be a global brand ambassador for both Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear.

“I have been a fan of Calvin Klein for a long time, and I’m thrilled to be their newest global ambassador,” said Jungkook, 25.
“This partnership is very special, as Calvin Klein’s heritage and brand values resonate with me.”
He continued: “My music is how I communicate with my fans around the world and I see this partnership as an opportunity to connect with them in a new way.
“I’m incredibly excited for people to see a new side of me in this first campaign for the brand.”
On their end, Calvin Klein said that bringing Jungkook into the family aligns with the brand’s values of inclusion and being on the pulse of what shoppers want — including seeing Jungkook in his Calvins.
Since BTS announced their temporary hiatus last year, Jungkook, alongside his bandmates, have been taking on solo projects on top of their already stacked portfolios.
Jungkook is widely recognised as the most popular member of the globally popular K-pop band BTS.
Co-members Jimin (Park Jimin), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Hoseok) and V (Kim Taehyung) have signed on with Dior, Valentino, Louis Vuitton and Celine respectively.
