Sabah achieves tourist arrival target in 10 months
Joniston said the trend of increasing domestic and international tourist arrivals to the State since the opening of the borders in April was driven by the increasingly positive and encouraging air transport network.
Kota Kinabalu: Sabah reached its tourist arrival target of 1.3 million within just 10 months this year, said State Tourism, Culture and Environment Assistant Minister Datuk Joniston Bangkuai.

“As of October, Sabah received a total of 1.34 million visitors with RM2.4 billion in tourism receipts,” he said, in his Ministry’s winding-up speech, at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, here.

This, he said, is a huge increase of 752.9 per cent compared to the previous year.
