Kota Kinabalu: A total of 119 new Covid-19 cases from variants of concern (VOC) have been detected, the Ministry of Health (MOH) announced today.
They are 106 Delta cases, 10 Beta and three Alpha, said the ministry on Twitter without giving state breakdowns or locations of the infections.

There are now a total of 429 VOC cases and 20 variant-of-interest cases nationwide, said MOH further.
With the announcement, it is highly likely the Health Director-General will detail the state breakdowns and locations of the new VOC cases in his daily press briefing later today.
