Monitor health, pilgrims urged

Matbali handing over donation to one of the 44 people who will perform Haj while others look on.
SIPITANG: Forty-four people who will perform Haj were reminded to always monitor their health so that they could carry out their Hajj religious rituals and activities smoothly.

Sipitang MP Datuk Matbali Musah said it is imperative that they are mentally and physically ready to respond to God’s call and perform worship smoothly.

“Discipline and physical health of every pilgrim is very important to be taken care of while in the holy land of Makkah.

“Hence, I am confident that every pilgrim who goes to the holy land is fully prepared physically and mentally when they reach there,” he said.

Matbali, who is also Chairman of the Malaysian Cocoa Board, presented donations to the 44 people in the ceremony which was also attended by Lumadan Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah Chairman cum Special Officer to the Chief Minister, Mazlan Joehari Manan and community leaders.
