Useless for PKR to keep on wooing PAS

Once upon a time when I was in my teens, I made some desperate attempts to woo a pretty young maiden in St Cecilia’s school. I was then a young grape.

Needless to say, nothing I did worked. I was pursuing a lost cause. I was to an extent lowering my pride and dignity.

And as I write, this is where the opposition PKR stands. They have had the PAS door slammed in their faces so many times until some of their noses I suspect have become penyit. Wan Azizah and Azmin Ali have called upon the President of PAS and flashed that photo all over FB, Twitter so on and so forth.

Hardly had that photo been relegated to the back burner, PAS gave notice of their intention to go for the seats of both Wan Azizah and Azmin Ali. Seemingly, PKR still believes not all hope is lost.

So where does that leave your new found friends in Harapan? In Azmin’s desperate attempt to retain Selangor and his MB post, it appears that he and the PKR are ready to bend backwards, forwards and sideways.

The die hards of PKR had best ask themselves some major questions - Is the quest for the State of Selangor far more important than the welfare of the Nation? Does the trust placed in you by the partners of Harapan mean nothing to you? Are you not confusing the Rakyat with with your dithering stand? And are you man or mouse?

See, the battle cry being expounded is “Lawan Tetap Lawan”. It is not “Lawan Macam Mau Lawan”.

You have to be single minded. You have to be purposeful and you must be consistent in your stand.

You simply cannot hunt with the hounds and run with the hares. It just does not work that way.

Never mind if you get nothing. I also got nothing with that pretty maiden.

But at least I was single minded in my approach and stood my ground.
