By Disgusted AS a regular user of Jalan Pintas-Donggonggon, I thank your paper for highlighting the problem of 12 streetlights fronting ITCC remaining dark at night for about a year.
The problem was resolved not because the YBs, Penampang BN bigwigs and others, including District Council and SESB staff staying in the vicinity who must have been aware did something but because your paper highlighted it.
Hence your paper is more useful to us than these goons. So keep it up.
I hope you will now urge plans to declare “Visit Penampang Year” next year to be called off.

Those who don’t agree, especially the DO, please visit the area where the Mojuntin statue is and ask why it remains unlighted.
Secondly, ask why the public are charged 30sen for the use of the toilet when there is no water and faeces is all over the floor.
Thirdly, no tourist will want to visit the Tamu and fish market which are so smelly.

The Council should invest in disinfectants during Tamu days.
