Why Mengalum structures intact?

REFERRING to the tragic boat accident in April this year Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yahya Hussein visited Mengalum island, last year, when he ordered all illegal structures to be demolished.
As usual there was no follow up and nothing has been done. When he visited Mengalum again in April this year accompanied by a large delegation from various government ministries he once more instructed his officers to carry out demolition of all illegal buildings/ structures.
But has this now been done, or is it “business as usual” – i.e. no demolition, no follow up, no checks?
The public deserves an answer.
