By Concerned THE alleged interference by certain quarters in preventing the Chinese survivors in the recent Mengalum catamaran tragedy from talking to the press does not sound good.
I am sure the survivors would have been eager to relate what happened and saying on their behalf that they were tired and should be left alone is a poor excuse at covering up.
Especially when it was reported that a policeman was also stationed beside every hospital bed to ensure this.
What is equally surprising is that none of the journalism associations in Sabah raised any hue and cry over the matter.
