TONGOD: A private company auditor, Anne Theresse Justin Sentian, 28, was crowned Unduk Ngadau Tongod 2026 during the Tongod District Kaamatan Festival celebration held at the Tongod People’s Square Open Hall on Wednesday.
Anne took home RM5,000 in cash, along with a sash, trophy, bouquet, certificate of participation and crown.
The crowning ceremony was conducted by Unduk Ngadau Tongod 2025 winner, Winddy Pearl Gibson.
Meanwhile, Nessly Januil and Evee Eldaniera Patarik were named first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively.
Nessly received RM3,000 in cash together with a trophy, certificate and bouquet, while Evee took home RM2,000 in cash along with a certificate, trophy and bouquet.
The prizes were presented by Grace Elvira Ewon Ebin, wife of Kuamut Assemblyman Datuk Masiung Banah.

Three other finalists – Layrinecia Patarik, Nethilda Robert and Ivy Danius – each received RM800 in cash and certificates of participation.
Nethilda was also named Miss Popular after garnering nearly 200 votes through the official Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan Tongod 2026 social media poll.
The Tongod District Kaamatan Festival celebration was officiated by Chief Minister Hajiji Noor and attended by local leaders and residents.
