Kota Kinabalu: PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited (PTTEP) Malaysia, through its newly launched Borneo Lab+ is planning programmes for uplifting marginalized communities in Sabah.

Its Country Manager Padsakorn Suwanruji said the three-year programme, carried out with the Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA), encompasses two distinctive projects under its umbrella which are Sabah Urban Farming Sandbox (Sufarms) and the Kinabalu Art Boutique Programme.

Sufarms would emphasise on educating communities on sustainable agricultural practices and renewable solutions through immersive workshops or training.

He said it would enable volunteers hands-on experience on green production methods such as hydroponic farming while at the same time gain practical insights into renewable solutions.
