Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Integrated Pest Management Association (Sipma) wants to foster close collaboration between licensed pest operators and local authorities (PBT) to uplift pest management standards across Sabah.
Sipma Chairman Mervin Liew said this collaborative endeavour is critically important in addressing the persistent pest challenges encountered by every district in Sabah.

He said this at the Sabah Pest Management & Entomology 2024 seminar held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), here, recently.
Expressing gratitude for the presence of the representatives of the Local Government and Housing Ministry (KKTP), Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) and District Health Officers from 18 PBTs in Sabah, Liew highlighted the significance of mutual understanding between governmental bodies and stakeholders in the pest industry, facilitated by Sipma.
