PAPAR: Sabah Police Comissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun said their revamped efforts based on the level of "public fear" saw a 20-percent spike in property crime cases including housebreaking and theft as of April 15.
“Investigation papers can now be opened for even a stolen pair of shoes. But because we don’t limit investigations, then we must be able to attain a high solve rate," he said.

“We are listening to the public’s fear of crimes. Like a doctor diagnoses a patient before a prescription.
“We don’t put value on the losses but act based on the incidents which left its victims traumatised. Then we can understand and return the best for them."
