PETALING JAYA: Hong Kong boy band Mirror has cancelled its upcoming concert in Malaysia, says concert promoter Unusual Entertainment.

The company announced that the April 28 gig at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil had been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, The Straits Times reported.

“However, the Mirror concert scheduled for May 1 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium will be held as planned,” Unusual Entertainment was quoted as saying by the Singapore daily.

The promoter said ticket holders for the concert here are eligible for a full refund or alternatively, they can choose to exchange their tickets for the Singapore show.

Mirror kicked off their Mirror Feel The Passion concert tour in Hong Kong in January, and performed in London and Manchester in the UK in March. The tour continues with dates in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York, in the United States, and Toronto in Canada this month.

Fans who were planning to attend the concert in Malaysia have expressed their shock and disappointment over the cancellation.

Mirror comprises 12 members, ranging in age from 24 to 35.

The Cantopop band was formed through ViuTV’s reality talent competition, Good Night Show – King Maker, in 2018, and released their first single, In A Second, in November that year.
