Kota Kinabalu: Two Sabahans were unscathed in a 7.5 magnitude deadly earthquake that hit Taiwan's eastern coast today.

“This is the strongest earthquake I have seen during my four years of studies here,” Hiew Yi Ying, 24, a student in chef professionals and food and beverage who lives in Yilan, told Daily Express.

In Keelung, Charlize Tan, a 24-year-old Sabahan occupational therapist, said the earthquake situation was more stable there.

“There are little things falling down, but people here in Keelung so far are mostly fine,” she said.

At least four people were killed in Taiwan's largest quake in 25 years, AP reported.
